Gaithersburg HELP is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides short-term emergency assistance to Gaithersburg area residents and  referrals to other organizations and agencies.

Gaithersburg HELP programs include: food, infant needs, prescription funding and transportation, and financial support. They staff bilingual translators  to serve Spanish-speaking clients.

The Dwelling Place is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that helps low income families in Montgomery County achieve housing and financial stability. Their program is specifically designed for families to allow them to stay together. Case managers provide personalized support to the heads of families.
