Reminder - Marine Toys For Tots

(c) Marine Toys For Tots

Hi all,

As a child, I benefited from this program and as I grew and funds were better, I tried to donate whenever I can. Our church handles a lot of practical needs. But to me, a "toothbrush" is not a Christmas present.

I urge you to take some time this year to share with those less fortunate than yourself:

City of Gaithersburg Holiday Giving program

From the City of Gaithersburg Facebook page:
(C) City of Gaithersburg

"The City of Gaithersburg Holiday Giving Program is part of Montgomery County’s Holiday Giving Project. For the past 20 years Gaithersburg’s Community Services Division has coordinated the delivery of food and gifts for the Thanksgiving and December Holidays to resident families.

Thanks to the generous contributions of local businesses, congregations and individuals, the Community Services Division was able to serve more than 900 households for Thanksgiving and more than 1,500 children in December of 2013. Families are referred by school counselors and nonprofit organizations. The 2014 Holiday Giving Program has kicked off, and we need your help to help brighten the holidays for families in need. Please see Holiday Giving Brochure in the Related Documents section for details."
