About the Gaithersburg HELP:
Founded in 1968, Gaithersburg
HELP is staffed entirely by volunteers and relies on donations from 19 member
congregations as well as private individuals and businesses. Its mission is to
provide emergency assistance to Gaithersburg and Montgomery Village residents.
In 2011, Gaithersburg HELP
distributed 3,400 three to five day food packages, paid for over 800
medications, and provided 600 rides to medical/social service appointments for
Gaithersburg and Montgomery Village residents in need.

About
the Concert:
Alpha 4 is a local
four-in-hand handbell group that uses interlocking handbell techniques so that
each person is holding and playing four to six bells simultaneously. The
group’s repertoire includes classical, seasonal, patriotic and folk tunes.
Admission is a donation of $5.00 or more to
Gaithersburg HELP and (optional) food donation for the pantry.
Food donations should be
healthy, nutritious foods, high in fiber and low in sugar and salt. Please
check expiration dates; no expired
items can be accepted.
